Most Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long should I keep my records?
We typically advise clients to keep records for 3-5 years. We also keep a copy of your records for a number of years.

  • Do you offer rapid refunds?
No we do not and you should educate yourself on the additional fees associated with rapid refunds.

  • What are your hours of operation?
9-5 from April 16th to mid January, Monday through Friday.
9-7 during tax season which starts mid January and runs through April 15th, Mon.-Fri. and 9-3 on Saturdays.

  • Should I make an appointment or drop off my information?
In most instances dropping off your information will be fine. If you think you need an appointment or have made one in the past, call our office to schedule.

  • How long does it take to get my return completed?
This varies with each advisor. It is tough to estimate time frames, but we do work diligently to get each tax return done as quickly as possible.

  • How long until I get my refund?
It can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks to get a refund. We have no control over the government unfortunately. This will depend on when your tax return is submitted. E-filing typically cuts down on this time as the governments support this method more than mailing in your return.

  • What are your fees?
We charge based on the number of forms to be prepared for individual tax returns. Contact us using the form below to discuss the possible charges based on the information you would bring.

  • Who prepares my tax return?
We have a number of highly qualified preparers to sort your information and put them into our system. We also have a policy to have a partner review every tax return before it goes out the door.

  • How can I get my questions answered?
There are certain questions we can answer over the phone, but many we can't. We also can't give out free advice over the phone. You can consult with your advisor or the appropriate governmental body to get questions answered.

  • What is the number to the IRS?
Contact them at 1-800-IRS-1040 or visit irs.gov.
